
Dr. Lorraine Luba grew up on Long Island, New York.
Dr. Luba earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Connecticut, in Animal Science, then her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University. Dr. Luba practiced small animal medicine and surgery in Rockville, Maryland, then equine practice in Ellicott City, Maryland before moving with her husband Norm to Louisville. She has been with the Shelbyville Road Veterinary Clinic since 1990.
Dr. Luba and Norm live on a horse farm in Eastwood and enjoy showing American Quarter Horses. When not at a horse show, she is very involved in her church and loves boating and crafts. Her son Colin and daughter-in-law Catherine live in Dallas, Texas and her son Christopher lives in St. Charles, Missouri. Dr. Luba has 2 horses and a Labrador, "Boone".
