Dr. Lauren Carcara graduated from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.
A Louisville native, she has been practicing at the Shelbyville Road Veterinary Clinic since June 2007.
Dr. Carcara and her husband share their home with Brooks, a Golden Retriever; Saoirse, an Australian Cattle dog; and Geno, a three-legged cat. In her spare time, she enjoys cheering on the Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers, playing ice hockey, traveling, and reading a good book in her hammock.
Dr. Carcara worked as a senior emergency clinician at BluePearl Veterinary Partners for 7 years.
