Dr. James Patterson - Veterinarian

Dr. James Alan Patterson is the founding veterinarian of Shelbyville Road Veterinary Clinic.

Dr. Patterson grew up in Louisville and received his bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the University of Kentucky. He graduated from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982.

Dr. Patterson and his wife, Deborah, live in Lake Forest with their adoptee, a Maltese named "Dude." They have one daughter, Jennifer; a son, Adam; and a daughter-in-law, Marilyn; and three grandsons. Dr. Patterson is an ever-aspiring runner who participates in several mini-marathons every year. He enjoys time with his family, college sports, and Cincinnati Reds baseball.
